Daily Lift

Race preparation tip from Bill Gladstone: Gather weather information from every available source. Stay away from high pressure, and position yourself to take advantage of new breeze, but beware of sailing the forecast instead of the wind, or you may find yourself in perfect position for a weather change that happens later than expected (or never happens).

  1. I miss the Caribbean and sailing other people's yachts. I am old, cold and trying to finish a small catboat before I die and do my dyin' at sea! I have all or most all of the materials but I am having a hard time finding a place that will rent me a small space to finish the job in Auburn, Maine. I may have a space in May but I continue to look for something, anything sooner. Any New Englanders here?
